Compliance documents

Compliance documents, drafted from your ship’s data

SEEMP, monitoring plans, the EEXI Technical File and the ETS statement to charterers. Enter the ship’s figures, we compute every number and check it, and the draft arrives in your inbox in the official layout.

First document free Official template layout Every figure checked Computation basis: your figures, not verified
How it works

Three steps, about ten minutes

Enter the ship

Type its name or IMO number: we fill in what the EU MRV register knows. Then add the figures only you have, step by step.

We compute and check

Every figure is calculated by our engines and checked twice: your inputs against the public register, and our arithmetic done a second way. You see the result before you send.

Your draft by email

The Word document, in the official template layout, from reports@carbonkeel.com. Your first one is free. Reply to that email if you want us to check it.

Questions

Is the first document really free?

Yes: one document per company email address, made from the figures you enter, with no card and no call. Further documents, other ships and checking against your papers are priced per ship; we agree the price before we start.

What does “computation basis: your input figures, not verified” mean?

Every number in the draft is calculated from what you entered, and printed on the document. We check those inputs against the public register and redo our own arithmetic, but we have not seen the ship’s papers. Your verifier, recognised organisation or Administration assesses the final document; CarbonKeel never says a document is verified.

What do the checks look at?

The IMO check digit; whether the ship is in the EU MRV register and its name, type and size there; the EEXI it reported; last year’s verified EU ETS emissions against your statement; and our arithmetic done a second way (CO₂ from the emission factors, allowances summed and rounded, the required EEXI recalculated). A failed check is explained, and we prepare that document with you instead.

Do you keep what I enter?

Only when you send it: the request and its document are kept so we can answer you, as the privacy notice says. While you fill it in, your entries stay in this browser.

I run one or two ships. Is this for me?

Yes. Small owners and managers often have no compliance team: start with the free draft, and ask us when the verifier comes back with questions.
